I’m an Irvine mom, working professional and proud resident of District 1. As a candidate for City Council, I am committed to serving our city with integrity, accountability and empathy, and fostering a community where every voice is heard and valued. 

I’m a second generation Californian, and as the daughter of immigrants, I believe in giving everyone a fair chance at the American Dream. I understand what drove my Taiwanese American parents and so many others like them to pursue a brighter future - the belief that this is the best place to build something for yourself, your family and your community.

My love for Irvine began during my undergraduate years at the University of California, Irvine, when a significant portion of District 1 had not even been developed yet. Today, as a mother who lives and works in Irvine, I’m committed to shaping the future of the city that I call home. 

Over the course of nearly two decades, I’ve been at the forefront of driving digital transformation within Fortune 500 companies spanning various industries. Currently, I work for a medical device company headquartered here in Irvine. These experiences have shaped my leadership style, which is marked by a commitment to action and a foundation built on meaningful partnerships. I also own a small business that operates out of Irvine.

My journey towards civic engagement began with my volunteer experience at Girls Educational and Mentoring Services, an organization committed to empowering survivors of domestic sex trafficking. Serving on the Young Professionals Board, I worked tirelessly to raise awareness and mobilize resources to support survivors. Witnessing the resilience of girls and young women transitioning from victimhood to survivorship inspired me to become an advocate for transformative change. I also volunteer with the Orange County Human Trafficking Taskforce.

I’ve observed the tangible impact legislation can have in our day-to-day lives, and how it is capable of uplifting families and protecting our most underrepresented communities. Because of this, I’ve dedicated my time as a Team Lead with Tech for Campaigns, an organization that supports political candidates with diversity of thought and representation. 

As a member of Irvine’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), I’m part of a program that provides private citizens with essential skills needed to respond in the event of a disaster. Programs like CERT are one of the many ways our community shows up for each other. 

As a mother who also works outside the home, I understand the challenges parents face in finding affordable homes and reliable childcare. I’m especially passionate about the growth of District 1, and ensuring that developments contribute positively to our community’s exceptional quality of life. 

I reside in District 1 with my husband and two children. When I’m not working or spending time with my kids, you can often find me enjoying one of Irvine’s many boba options or getting some sunshine along the Jeffrey Open Space Trail.
